I know that you like this, even me. Because MRT here in Davao is very important especially to all students and to all commuters. I hope not only Toril-Lasang is the route hope there is Calinan-Ulas route.

The tourist destinations. 

This Image taken from People's Park, People's Park is a cultural-theme park located at the center of Davao City. There are many beautifully handcrafted concrete artworks and figures representing the Lumads, the indigenous people or tribe of Davao. The artworks were done by artist Kublai Millan, a well known and prolific Davao sculptor who created the freedom statue in front of the Sangguniang Panglungsod building.

The Davao Crocodile Park is a major tourist destination located at the riverfront, Corporate City Diversion Highway, Ma-a, Davao City, and is about 15 to 30 from downtown of the City.

This is the Davao Marco Polo hotel where you can stay here for a couple of days while enjoying the beauty of Davao.

The 2.7 billion passenger terminal is a Malay architecture-inspired building which is four times larger than the old terminal. It is highly computerized, more secure and has more commercial spaces for concessionaries at approximately 9,000 sq. meter.

The Davao City Mayor

Under Rodrigo Duterte's tenure as mayor from 2001 to 2010 and now 2013, the city maintained its stability. The crime rate dropped between 1995 and 2008.

                                    

Law enforcement 

A curfew on minors is enforced. All businesses, especially bars and discos, are mandated by a city ordinance to stop selling alcohol drinks a 1:00 am. Motorcyclists without helmets and motorists with defective lights are not allowed to enter or drive in the city. Checkpoints in key parts, the city and at its limits are manned 24 hours a day to enforce traffic laws.

Davao has been praised by the World Health Organization for its smoke-free policy since 2002, the first in the Philippines.
